Out of 234 years of black slavery in the United States, there were close to 7.5-8 million slaves imported to the U.S. However, out of an estimated 64 years of Human trafficking, there is an estimated 12.5 to 30 million slaves worldwide. If we take the lowest number (12.5) this is a 40% increase in 75% less time.
